AEW star Ricky Starks has been absent from TV appearances for months, sparking speculation among fans about his potential departure from the promotion. He appeared on AEW television since March 2024.

Ricky Starks still isn’t sure why he’s not on AEW television right now. Starks hasn’t competed in AEW since losing a tag team title tournament match to Top Flight on the March 30 episode of Collision.

Currently, Starks is still signed to an AEW contract, and outside of GCW, none of his other appearances have been publicly cancelled, such as his involvement with HOG's Watch the Throne event in Chicago next January.
