CHICAGO – Chicago police are investigating after a woman was shot downtown near Macy’s Saturday night. Police said a woman was shot near Macy’s at State and Washington and was taken to Northwestern Hospital in serious to critical condition.

A 19-year-old woman was injured Saturday evening after a shooting on a sidewalk in the Loop, officials said. Chicago police could be seen investigating nearby at the Macy's store on State Street.

A woman was injured in a shooting at Macy's on State Street in downtown Chicago late Saturday night, authorities said. The shooting was reported prior to 9:30 p.m. at the department store near State and Randolph streets in the Loop.
