Night 1 of WWE SummerSlam 2025 had its fair share of highlights and culminated in unforgettable fashion, but similar to WrestleMania 41 earlier this year, the potential is there for it to be topped by a stacked second night of the event.

The biggest event of the summer is here with WWE and its tentpole show SummerSlam. The promotion heads to East Rutherford, New Jersey this weekend for a two-day spectacular at MetLife Stadium -- the first time that SummerSlam will be held across multiple days like has become normal for WrestleMania in April annually.

Day 1 of the biggest show of the summer Summer Slam 2025 was arguably headlined by the World Heavyweight Championship match between CM Punk and Gunther. Punk was cruelly robbed of spending more time with the World title as Seth Rollins cashed in the Money in The Bank contract to snatch it from him.
