The Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions will take the field on Thanksgiving, and both teams will be without players on each side of the ball.

The Bears ruled out two players for their Thanksgiving matchup -- safety Elijah Hicks and offensive lineman Ryan Bates. Hicks will miss his second straight game as he deals with an ankle injury, so it'll be Jonathan Owens getting the start in his place. Meanwhile, Bates remains in concussion protocol.
