Army's highly rated offense and defense took a hit from Notre Dame in clash of ranked football teams at Yankee Stadium.

In 9-1 Notre Dame, Army faces its most punishing opponent yet: a team composed of bigger, stronger and more talented recruits, led by one of the best coaches in the business, Marcus Freeman.

As for scoring defense, Army is tied for first in the country, allowing 10.3 points per game. The Black Knights have held five of their nine opponents to single digits. Navy allows over 10 more points per game with 23.5. When it comes to the rushing defense, Army is number one in the country at 82.6 yards per game while Navy allows 162.8.
