NEW YORK — One day after acquiring a new starting third baseman, the Yankees made another trade to bolster their infield depth. The Yankees added veteran infielder Amed Rosario from the Nationals on Saturday night in exchange for Triple-A reliever Clayton Beeter and Browm Martinez, an 18-year-old outfielder in the Dominican Summer League.

They aren’t bad options at all, but they’re no Suarez. The good thing is to get either of them, the Yankees would have to cough up a lot of prospects in return. Donovan has had a strong season with St. Louis and if the Cardinals decide to sell he could be a solid acquisition.
