The Boston Red Sox recently had to make a change in the infield. Boston lost first baseman Triston Casas to a serious knee injury and it seems likely at this moment that he's not going to be back this year.

Casas was removed in the bottom of the second inning after suffering what manager Alex Cora described as a “significant (left) knee injury.”

Casas suffered the injury while running to first after hitting a slow roller up the first-base line in the second inning of Boston's 6-1 win over the Minnesota Twins on Friday. He fell awkwardly and was carted off the field before he was eventually hospitalized.
