York's Salvation Army is urging people to donate items to their toy appeal so they can give them to those in need this Christmas.

Lucy Wood and Sebastian Raven, who attend Hunter Hall School, organised two sports quizzes for classmates and parents to raise funds for the Salvation Army in Penrith, which operates a food bank.
