Demonta Woodward, 24, and Zomarrius Williams, 20, were among the seven people shot early Sunday morning during a gathering.

26-year-old Jamaro J. Kemmerling of Mt. Vernon has been taken into custody and charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm and unlawful possession of a firearm by a repeat felony offender. Police say this investigation is still in its early stages, and detectives are still actively developing leads and gathering evidence.
