At approximately 12:16 p.m., Carlton County Dispatch received a report of a bomb threat and an armed person at Cloquet High School. Law enforcement searched the high school and the middle school and found no evidence to substantiate the report, according to a news release from the police department.

Reports of a possible gunman drew heavy law enforcement response at a children's hospital in Southern California. The Loma Linda University children's hospital was cleared by deputies, but no evidence of a shooting was found by investigators.
