A magnitude 4.1 earthquake struck Sunday roughly 7 miles southwest of Westlake Village in Los Angeles County, California, the United States Geological Survey said.

The California earthquake was recorded at a depth of 7.2 miles today, with its epicentre around 6.8 miles southwest of Westlake Village

Emma Fire initially started 11:09 a.m. Jan. 8 in Los Angeles County. It has been burning on federal land managed by the United States Forest Service for 58 days. At this time, there is no data on the containment status of the fire and the cause has yet to be determined.
