The remains of a British researcher who fell into a crevasse on an Antarctic glacier 66 years ago have been recovered, the British Antarctic Survey (BAS) said.

The remains of a British scientist who died in Antarctica 66 years ago have been revealed by a melting glacier. The British Antarctic Survey (BAS) says Dennis "Tink" Bell fell into a crevasse during a glacier survey at Admiralty Bay on King George Island on July 26, 1959.

Dennis “Tink” Bell was 25 years old when he fell into a crevasse on King George Island. Over the decades, a glacier receded, and a scientific team from Poland found his remains this year.
