DiJonai Carrington is thrilled to be with the Lynx, and she shared her feelings after beating the Storm on Tuesday.

Days ahead of the 2025 WNBA trade deadline (Aug. 7 at 3 p.m. ET), the league-leading Minnesota Lynx made a big swing to try and bolster their title chances. Early on Sunday, the Lynx sent Diamond Miller, Karlie Samuelson and a 2027 second-round pick to the Dallas Wings for 2024 Most Improved Player DiJonai Carrington.

The Lynx acquired the WNBA's 2024 Most Improved player, DiJonai Carrington, on Sunday in exchange for Diamond Miller, Karlie Samuelson and a 2027 second-round pick. ESPN's Kevin Pelton gave Minnesota an A- grade for the deal.
