THROGGS NECK, The Bronx (WABC) -- A Board of Trustees for Preston High School in the Bronx said they negotiated with the school for months, but ultimately it will end up closing. The high school is set to close at the end of the year.
All-girls Catholic high school in the Bronx is closing
An all-girls Catholic school in the Bronx has announced that it will close at the end of the academic year. WABC-TV reports that Preston High School will be shutting down after 75 years. Students, parents and alumni received a late night email from administrators saying students would need to find another place to finish their high school careers.

In a letter, Principal Jennifer Connolly said the board of trustees informed the school of their decision to close the school at the end of the 2024-2025 school year.
