Flight attendants with PSA Airlines, which is owned by American Airlines, are planning a protest at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport on Monday.
Despite the initial attempt by Air Canada to return to regular service as early as this morning, the move by the union representing striking flight attendants to defy the federal back-to-work order handed down over the weekend means travellers may be facing “another chaotic day,” Canadian Press reports.
The decision by the union representing the 10,000 workers means that travel chaos will continue for at least a second day. Air Canada said it had suspended its reopening plan until Monday evening.
