The first round of the 2025 NBA playoffs continues with Game 3 in the Eastern Conference between the Boston Celtics and the Orlando Magic on Friday. The Celtics are currently in a strong position, leading the best-of-seven series 2-0. However their star player, Jayson Tatum, is uncertain for Game 3 due to injury.

Jayson Tatum is in Boston’s starting lineup Friday night for Game 3 of the Celtics’ series against the Orlando Magic after missing a game with a bone bruise in his right wrist.

Tatum racked up 36 points on 10-for-22 shooting with four made 3-pointers in Game 3. He also shot 12-for-12 from the field with nine rebounds and four assists in 39 minutes but his effort ultimately went for naught, as the Magic escaped with the victory to cut down Boston's series lead to a game.
