Two people who died when a truck plunged into the Potomac River in Washington, D.C. have been identified as twin brothers.

Twin brothers Jerel and Jerod Wert died after their truck plunged into the Potomac River on Jan. 16. The crash occurred on the Arlington Memorial Bridge after the truck collided with another vehicle.

The two victims were identified as Jerod and Jerel Wert. They were both 52 years old and from Chesapeake Beach, Maryland.
