Two more people have been arrested after a car being chased by police crashed. Cleveland Police attempted to stop a red Hyundai, believed to have been stolen overnight, shortly after 11:00 BST on Wednesday. The car made off and a pursuit took place, which led to a crash on the A1027 westbound carriageway, off the A19 near Billingham, Teesside.

The driver had struck at least one other car before hitting a Boston police officer, according to police.

A police spokesperson said Tuesday that the officer “was struck by the vehicle” about 2 p.m. in the area of Hamilton Place and Tremont Street, and that the driver was later apprehended on Albany Street.

It happened a little after 9 p.m. on Bradley Road near Cherry Hills Boulevard, according to the Menifee Police Department.

Surrey Police are appealing for information after a crash in Godalming last week left a man in his 60s dead at the scene. The incident reportedly took place at around 3pm on Friday, June 27 in the Brook area of Godalming and was a single vehicle collision involving a motorcycle.
