De'Aaron Fox will switch from his iconic No. 5 to No. 4 as he moves from Sacramento to San Antonio, while rookie Stephon Castle, the fourth overall pick

De'Aaron Fox was traded to the San Antonio Spurs from the Sacramento Kings in a multi-team deal on Sunday night. The Kings drafted Fox and he spent seven and a half seasons there, but will now sport another team's colors.

Fox played a key role in bringing his childhood friend and former Kentucky teammate to Sacramento when Monk signed a free-agent deal with the Kings in the summer of 2022. Now, Fox is gone and Monk is taking over as the team’s starting point guard.
