The SDSU volleyball team fell runner-up in the Summit League Championship, but their was plenty of hope that a 27-2 record could still get them into the NCAA Tournament. The Jackrabbits were rewarded for their strong season with an at-large bid into the tournament.

Though the team and coaching staff had been confident they would get an at-large bid since their five set Summit League Tournament Championship loss to USD on Tuesday thanks to a 27-2 record, high RPI and strength of schedule, it was an agonizing wait that lasted nearly the entirety of the selection show.
UW volleyball earns at-large berth to NCAA tournament
It was the 22nd time in the past 23 years that UW has qualified for the NCAA championships. The Huskies missed out last season for the first time since 2001. Head coach Leslie Gabriel got Washington back into the dance in her second season at the helm.
