Starlink rival: China’s SpaceSail set to provide satellite internet in Brazil
Qianfan is one of two Chinese megaconstellations aimed at challenging Starlink’s dominance. The other, Guowang, also known as SatNet, is being developed by China Satellite Network Group near Beijing and expected to comprise around 13,000 satellites. Construction on Guowang is set to begin soon, according to SCMP.

SpaceX launches 24 Starlink internet satellites into space
LOS ANGELES -- US private space company SpaceX launched 24 Starlink satellites into orbit on Thursday. According to SpaceX, the satellites were launched aboard a Falcon 9 rocket from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida at 11:07 am Eastern Time. SpaceX later confirmed the deployment of the 24 satellites.
