Xbox Game Pass expands the options for fans of Balatro, making the popular deckbuilder available to enjoy on yet another tier.

Announced as part of the the latest ID@Xbox stream, the winner of Best Independent Game, Best Debut Indie Game and Best Mobile Game at The Game Awards 2024 has been added to the lineup of titles available to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and even Standard members.

In terms of Xbox Play Anywhere, Balatro does not have the Play Anywhere tag on its Xbox Store page right now, and you can't filter it that way either, but we've checked that our console copy is appearing as an "owned" title on the PC app.

There's one major game hitting Game Pass this week, but if Avowed isn't your style we have plenty of other excellent new Xbox games you can play this weekend.

Two more games have been added to Game Pass for Xbox and PC today, while multiple titles will be leaving the subscription service in a week.
