There is no superhero fatigue. It’s bad movie fatigue.
Aug 22, 2023 · Yeah this sub is missing the point of superhero fatigue. The Flash is a Dark Phoenix / F4 level flop where the movie is so immensily terrible that it was always going to bomb. But films like Quantumania, Blue Beetle, Shazam 2, these are just your standard cape flicks that if released in 2019 would have done absolutely fine numbers.

Anyways, my personal definition of superhero fatigue is too many mid superhero stuff released in a small amount of time. 2021-2022 was so bad with flawed stuff with black widow, eternals, dr strange 2, Thor 4, black panther 2, wandavision, falcon and the winter soldier, ms.marvel and more By 2023, I had “superhero fatigue”
"superhero fatigue" isnt real : r/CharacterRant - Reddit
Superhero fatigue isn't real so much as bad Superhero movie fatigue is. General audiences won't show up for a mediocre Superhero movie these days like they maybe would've a couple years ago, but great movies still make bank at the box office. GOTG Vol. 3 and Across the Spider-verse proves this. Good movies will make money lol, I know it's a shocker

I think if anything the past few months have demonstrated that “Superhero Fatigue,” is not a thing. However, producing subpar projects over and over again definitely does create fatigue. Superhero fatigue is rubbish but, MCU fatigue is a genuine
Feb 27, 2023 · So, while superhero fatigue is a silly myth, we shouldn't just dismiss MCU fatigue. Meanwhile, we also can't pretend that this will last forever and marks the end is nigh. It's a rough patch, and one that I'm pretty sure will end when the next really great MCU film comes along, blows people's minds, and brings headlines like "x film just SAVED ...

What exactly is "superhero fatigue"? : r/boxoffice - Reddit
Nov 24, 2023 · So to cure superhero fatigue, Marvel and DC need to stop creating stories about X person with powers fights Y person with powers, loses to them, learns some valuable life lesson, and then triumphs in the end in a big CGI fight. The end. It doesn't seem like an extremely crazy problem to solve.
Do you think superhero fatigue is real? : r/Letterboxd - Reddit
For me it's less about Superhero Fatigue, more about the kinds of superhero stories getting told. Too many things tend to either follow the post-irony MCU formula or just go way to "cool and badass" for its own good. I'm tired of the whole "Superman, but evil" thing. I think what is missing from both of these styles is sincerity.
How Marvel Is Quietly Retooling Amid Superhero Fatigue
Feb 21, 2024 · Superhero fatigue means a mew superhero movie series will now have to stand o its own two legs, as opposed to the 2010s when complete movie crap was easily able to hit 600 million. Every mcu movie was successful pre 2020 - I have an extremely difficult time believing people loved them all
